Drury Dynamo Update:

On Saturday 14 Dynamo wrestlers attended the Durham Classic Wrestling Tournament in Ajax, Ontario. The day started off with 5 wrestlers in the novice division. Cooper Feke and Ethan Ramroop wrestled each other in the 16 kg weight class. Cooper won all three matches with his lethal head and arm pin winning the gold medal and Ethan winning the Silver. Ethan Rashad entered in his first tournament had a great learning experience winning the bronze medal while Brock Feke took the silver in the 21kg weight class. Kira Ramroop finished off the novice event winning her two matches and bringing home the gold medal.

Will Davidson was our only representative in the kids division with four tough matches. Will continued to gain experience and improve finishing the day in 5^th place.

In the Bantam Division Stephen Alenik, Steven Lendovy and Sam Murphy gained valuable experience in their first wrestling tournament of the year. The twins Cole and Jake Michaelis both finished 5^th with some excellent matches after a very long day of hockey in the morning and wrestling in the afternoon. Tyler Reis Sanford continued his impressive start to wrestling with three wins to earn him the silver medal. Newcomer Richard May made an impressive début and three matches later Richard brought home the silver medal. The wrestler of the day was Colin Moffat who wrestled his way to the 50kg finals. After a battle in the finals Colin won the silver medal to cap off a good day of wrestling.
